ICBCH-LJN Counterbalance Valve
A screw-in, cartridge-style, three-port, poppet-type, counterbalance valve controls the oil flow back to the internal spring chamber.

| Operating Pressure | Loading pressure max. 270 bar when setting pressure at 350bar |
| Flow | See Performance Chart |
| Internal Leakage | Max. 0.4 ml/min. at Reseat Reseat pressure > 85% of setting pressure Factory pressure settings established at flow of 32.8 ml/min |
| Pilot Ratio | 10:1, max. setting should be equal to 1.3 times the load pressure |
| Temperature | -40 to 120°C |
| Fluids | Mineral-based or synthetics with lubricating properties at viscosities of 7.4 to 420 cSt (50 to 2000 ssu) |
| Installation | No restrictions |
| Cavity | IT-11A; See page 309 |
Materials
| Cartridge | Weight: 0.20 kg. (0.44 lbs.); Steel with hardened work surfaces. Zinc-plated exposed surfaces. Seal: O-rings and back-up rings. |
| 1. Max. setting pressure is at least 1.3 times max. load-induced pressure. |
| 2. Backpressure at port 2 should be in the setting range. |
| 3. Reseat pressure exceeds 85% of set pressure. |
The ICBCH-LJN allows the flow from ② to ①, and blocks flow from ① to ② when the pressure of ① is lower than the check spring setting.
The cartridge relieves flow from ① to ② when the pressure of ① exceeds the check spring setting.
When there is pilot-assisted pressure at port ③, it could change the opening degree from ① to ② to achieve the restriction function.
